Flam is one of the country’s longest Fjord, 204-kilometer Sognefjord. Natural beauty is its claim to fame, and the scenery does not disappoint. (A UNESCO site for beauty).
Our highlight is a ride on one of the most iconic train routes in Europe (the Flamsbana). We stop at the Kjosfossen Waterfall - free fall of 305 feet. Dramatic music and women in beautiful red gowns complete the dramatic scene on the rocks of the waterfall.
Afterwards we stopped at an outdoor café and lunched on – fish and chips, fish soup and beer!
We got back to our room and prepared for dinner. We had cocktails at the Venetian Lounge while listening to one of the Silversea singers "Luke Singing the Classics" - he is very talented and so expressive! He so much fun to watch. Afterwards, I went to a game show "Name that Tune" (so much fun!) and Bob went back to our stateroom to read!!
