We briefly see Mary Beth and Bob at breakfast on this segment’s changeover day. Lots of action on board as over 200 guests are departing and around 100 guests joining us. Unfortunately, Mary Beth and Bob are among those disembarking. We are still in awe that they joined this segment of the cruise just to celebrate Bob's 70th birthday! Anni and I hang out in the panorama lounge, where we were all ordered to remain until noon time so the staff could clean and disinfect for the new group. We then had lunch, grabbed the next complimentary shuttlebus and went into town on our own. This turned out to be a great day for us. We walked along quaint streets with bars, restaurants and shops. Anni bought a puffin Christmas tree ornament. We returned to the ship and decide to have dinner in our room, watch a movie and go to bed early! The captain has already warned us that we will experience very high seas and heavy winds en route to the Faroe Islands port of Reykjavik. By the next morning we are experiencing 18- to 20-foot-high waves and 45 to 60 mph winds. Very exciting, for us!
