We can hear the engines reversing as we snuggled dockside to Falmouth, England. Finally, we have a day off from our tours. And, the weather is nice enough to eat breakfast outside at La Terrazza. On our own, we walk the very iconic streets of this lovely seaside town on England’s Cornish coast (south west). Anni is in search of oysters, only to be disappointed when we learn that they are not in season until September. Still, we find a fabulous open-air restaurant (Chain Lock) for fish and chips as we gaze at the maze of moored sailboats. We walk the cobblestoned narrow streets of this fishing village which was a major port in the 18th century and now has been voted one of the best UK towns to live and we can see why. Back to the ship for formal night after a very relaxing day.
